We had our first dinner meeting since Covid shutdown in March. It was a smaller gathering but the conversation was great and the food was even better. Dr. Duke Pfitzinger presented a paper on noninvasive ABI’s and how they can be miss leading in certain patients. This was a helpful review of when to use that study and how to interpret the results. With the response we had and the smaller venue, we were tentatively planning on another dinner meeting in late October. I hope to connect with more of our community physicians to share ideas and raise vascular awareness.
We are planning our first dinner meeting since the pandemic next Thursday at Capital Grille. We are going to discuss peripheral arterial testing and some new ideas of how to determine if wounds will heal. It is a smaller forum due to group restrictions but if we have a robust response we will follow it up with another one in October. Vascular Center of Naples is looking forward to seeing everyone at the dinner meeting and the guaranteed intellectual conversation that will be had by all.
We are planning a dinner meeting for the Podiatrist in town. We are going to have it on Thursday September 24th at 6 pm at Capital Grille in Mercato. We are starting to get out our invitations this month. The space is limited to 8 physicians due to COVID restrictions. We will be discussing how ABI’s may not be that accurate in certain patient populations. We look forward to a robust evening of discussion and as always a great meal. If you are a Podiatrist and would like to attend please call the office to RSVP for the event. Thanks and be safe out there.
Summer is here and so is our first hurricane. Make sure everyone does prepare for this hurricane season. With all the focus on Covid-19 don’t forget to get some basics for this storm season. We hope all stay safe and look forward to seeing you in the near future.
Well summer is in full swing and Vascular Center of Naples is working hard to create a safe and efficient environment for our patients and staff. We are still getting comfortable and moving things around in our new space. We are still expanding our treatment services. We are planning to start doing peritoneal catheters for the dialysis population. There is going to be a big push in the next 5 years by the government to have about 20% of the patients on this method of treatment. So, we look forward to bringing this to our patients in the near future. Thanks for everyone’s help and hard work.
Vascular Center of Naples is staying safe and still helping our vascular patients. We would like everyone to know we are still offering full service vascular care with most procedures being done in the office. We are requesting all of our patients to wear a mask to protect themselves and our staff. We are asking for only the patient to come in but if the patient needs additional help then to limit it to one additional family member. Thanks for all your help in this crazy time. We look forward to getting back to normal in the near future. Stay safe and see you soon.
Well the election is over, or almost, and Halloween has passed. We at Vascular Center of Naples are looking forward to the holidays and a busy season. We are always looking to improve our services and in that spirit we are adding another ultrasound tech to our team. This will allow better access for our patients to get quality studies to aid in treatment decisions. She will be starting in 3 short weeks from now. It is an exciting time at the Vascular Center of Naples.
We are always proud to show off our chocolate leg that OPC gave us. Thanks again from Vascular Center of Naples. We wish all a great season and a happy 2021. Enjoy!!!!
We at the Vascular Center of Naples are going to try something new this season. We plan on donating a $100 to Harry Chapin food bank in Naples Florida every time a Tampa Bay Lightning player scores a hat trick. We are hoping for a great hockey season with a lot of high scoring games. Go Lightning!!!!
Every time Tampa Bay Lighting have a hat trick we will donate $100 to our local food bank. I am requesting that everyone out there help us at Vascular Center of Naples to track this. Just let us know the scores and if any Lighting players had a hat trick. Thanks for all your help.
Vascular Center of Naples loves varicose veins. If your legs are swollen, tired, heavy then let us take a look with a free vein evaluation. Venous disease is very common and in most cases is covered by insurances to be treated. So if you are tired of looking at those varicose veins give Vascular Center of Naples a call. We want to make your legs look great again.
Vascular Center of Naples is still offering the Free Vascular Profile to the community. This includes an ultrasound of the carotid arteries (neck vessels) for stroke prevention, ultrasound for abdominal aortic aneurysm and arterial study of the legs to check for peripheral arterial disease.
