We are still in need of newspapers for our kennels if anyone has any to donate! Please call our office for a drop off! Thank you!!!
We would to thank the Morris family for the yummy cookies they brought us as a thank you for taking care of their pet “Jack” over the years. Jack always held a special place in our hearts even though Jack wasn’t always fond of us working on him! We will miss him terribly.
In observance of Labor Day we will be closed on Monday September 7th. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday September 8th.
During this pandemic our hospital is currently challenged with extraordinary high demand. Clients are with their pets more than ever during this juncture, and the human-animal bond has never been more meaningful. We understand that your pet's well-being is vital to you, and we are working as hard as possible to have you seen. We all recognize that safety precautions occasionally require that we keep our employees at home, yet curbside service takes additional resources in order to communicate well and keep everyone safe. Be assured that each pet receives the excellent care that he/she deserves, as a result our wait time for an appointment is longer than usual.
Pets get springtime allergies too! Dust, plants, pollens and insects can all be irritants! If you think your pet may be allergic to something, consult your VCA veterinarian. Learn more about pet allergies here: https://bit.ly/3jD7yHB 🌸🐶#vcapets
Today is National Puppy Day!! Let’s see your puppy pictures!!!
Here are some additional pictures of Santos at his retirement party!! Congratulations!! We thank you for your service to our great community!
We would like to congratulate Citgo, A.KA. as “Santos” on his retirement from the Lockport Police Department K-9 unit. Officer Andy Ganger was an amazing handler and we know how much you will miss your partner! We are happy to know that he will live the rest of his years with Officer Ganger and his family.
What’s your pet’s leprechaun name?
Our adoptable pal Wyman wanted to wish you a happy month of love! For almost two years, this sweet 10-year-old has been at PAWS Chicago, waiting for Cupid’s arrow to land on his future family. We think it’s time this senior pup spends his golden years surrounded by a family.
His perfect people have a cat- and kid-free home, are able to administer his daily medicine, and have a quiet household. If that sounds like you, meet Wyman and learn more about the PAWS Chicago virtual adoption process at http://bit.ly/3p64yVh.
As a VCA partner, PAWS Chicago provides adopters with a VCA Healthy Start Certificate, giving you a free visit with a veterinarian within 14 days of adoption and covering the cost of illness in the first two weeks of adoption (up to $500).
