Dr. Thomas Groneck has is a Winston-Salem native. He graduated from NC State in 2015 with a bachelor of science degree in Zoology and took a year off from school to work in Thomasville, NC to get more experience in the veterinary field before being accepted into NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In school, he enjoyed many parts of the curriculum and excelled in pathologies, parasitology, and dentistry. He plans to apply these skills to ensuring good preventative care to get ahead of health problems that commonly arise in veterinary medicine. At home he lives with two mutts, Max and Bear, as well as cat named Lucky that he adopted from the hospital while working in Thomasville. He enjoys spending time with his family and pets, drawing, tennis, music, and has increased his cooking prowess during the lockdown.
He is very excited to get to know the pets and owners in his hometown and contribute his knowledge in medicine!
