I’m still looking for my sweet girl, Storm, who was lost while we were evacuated in Hubbard, OR zip code 97032 on Butteville Rd NE near Fuller Rd NE. Gray with orange undertones, docked ear, skinny and 1 year old. She’s a love bug and quite possibly has found herself a new home. Please, if you see her, let me know. She has a brother cat who is completely lost without her, and my husband and I miss her so much.

When Psi started gagging and coughing, it was thought to be asthma. But it kept getting worse. Finally on his third visit to his #vet, they found a mass in his trachea that was blocking 90% of his airway.
Psi was then brought to us. He was in critical condition and went into emergency surgery which was very high-risk due to the difficulty of maintaining an airway while attempting to remove such a large mass.
No one wanted to get their hopes up, but as his wonderful parent's shared, "Psi is one tough cookie and beat the odds. He was a champ in surgery and tests came back as a benign polyp. He has already made a great recovery and we are so thankful for the surgeons." You're a #superstar, Psi! 🌠 💖

The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.
Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.
