Make your daily cuddles fun and productive by regularly checking your pet’s skin and coat for fleas! Check the neck area, stomach, ears, between the toes and around the tail base. Also, check your pet’s bedding—flea waste (“flea dirt”) may be found in their favorite napping spot even when you don’t spot fleas on your pet.

Did you know pets and wildlife can accidentally get tangled in thrown-out medical masks? Here are a few tips for throwing out a single-use mask. Wash your hands before removing the straps from behind your ears or head, without touching the front of the mask. Cut the straps and dispose of the mask in a closed garbage bin so it does not fly away, and then sanitize your hands once again. #vcapets
