“Benny” was in for his first puppy exam at our South location. While melting the hearts of the staff, Dr. Bauer was busy typing up his medical record so he decided to go parasite control shopping while waiting. You’re one in a million “Benny”. Thanks for making us smile!
Dr. Serreyn not only had the cutest patient of the day, she also had a first for Dr. Gerds. A pet named “Sabine”. So she ran “Sabine” into the doctor office to meet, well, Sabine. Dr. Sabine Gerds had to have a picture as it was the first pet she has met at Meadow Hills named “Sabine” in nearly 25 years of practice. "Sabine” the puppy, is a 7 week old Labradoodle. Sabine the doctor is slightly older! 🤣 We love to celebrate these happy moments!
We would like to give the Kennewick Fire Department a special thanks for checking on us today at our Gage Blvd. location. We had a false alarm but they were there immediately just in case. “Nova” was out to greet the firefighters when they arrived but more likely was waiting to meet their Dalmatian 🤣. In all seriousness we do appreciate all they do for our community! Thank You!
Congratulate “Minnie” who had 6 puppies on Saturday, August 29th (3 boys & 3 girls). The family was in today at our South location for well-checks. Everyone is doing great! More so, we were just excited to get our puppy fix for the day. Pure cuteness!
“Nico” didn’t lack the attention from the ladies today. It was like having a celebrity stop by. One by one they all had their pictures taken with him. This handsome and sweet gentleman stopped by our Gage Blvd. location for his wellness visit today. Life is good “Nico”!
We know you’re so excited to go on some autumn nature walks with your dog, but for this #FallSafetyTip, make sure you watch out for snakes, some of which can be venomous! They’re preparing for hibernation and may be a little crankier if disturbed by a curious pet! 🐍
When walking or hiking, if something happens to your pet, be sure to contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. #VCApets
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! A few live shots from our Gage Blvd. location today that hopefully will make you smile. Please be safe tonight!
“Coco” came dressed to impress today getting an early start on Halloween. Dr. Serreyn and Breanna were captivated with the health conscious superfood choice “The Avocado”. “Coco” was in for her dental cleaning and doing well with pearly white teeth to play off her costume. You look incredible “Coco”!
Dr. Lyle had the best Friday ever with a lap full of Shih tzu puppies. Life is good!

Dr. Serreyn was excited to meet this handsome boy today. Please welcome “Hank” a 10 week old St. Bernard who recently moved over from Vancouver, WA. Tipping the scale at 31 pounds already, we are confident he is going to be able to carry a hefty barrel of someone’s favorite beverage! Welcome to the Tri “Hank”!
Christmas came a little early as we recently made a significant investment into a new state-of-the-art ultrasound unit to replace our older technology. Today, the equipment was installed and a full day of training took place for our doctors and technicians. Dr. Serreyn and Dr. Peck have spent the last several years focused on their ultrasound skills and the ability to offer the service to their patients. Smiles were BIG and OFTEN as they along with Dr. Small and Dr. Gerds worked with the new technology and all it has to offer. We are excited to add even greater diagnostic capabilities for our clients and their beloved pets in their time of need.
We have so many things to be thankful for. To begin, we have the most incredible doctors and support staff anyone could ask for. The training and knowledge set each has is beyond remarkable. With that said, we do not exist without our amazing clients and their pets. We cannot say thank you enough! Today is a very special day as it represents Alice Prewitt’s 20 Year Anniversary. Happy tears come easily as do the words to express our gratitude and praise we have for her. The work ethic and the compassion and love she demonstrates each day is beyond description. For safety concerns, she has had to support us from afar during this pandemic but she very much is still an active team member and she will be back in the clinic when the time is right. Cheers to 20 Years Alice. We are blessed and thankful. Happy Thanksgiving!
