If your veterinarian recommends a product at the end of a visit, it’s because it’s necessary to keep your pet healthy! Whether it’s parasite prevention medicine, or special-diet food, the care you provide between visits is important, too—your pet’s treatment doesn’t end in the examination room! 🐱🐶 #vcapets

COVID-19 has impacted pet owners in more ways than ever imagined. In response, VCA Charities, in partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, continues to find ways to increase its impact and enable access to veterinary care.
Through recent grants to shelter partners as well as the new VCA Charities HOPE Funds programs, vulnerable pets are receiving care and pet owners are finding hope. Pets like Stella, who experienced labor complications, and whose owner recently found themselves unemployed, received life-saving care and support for her five puppies.
To show our commitment to #vcacharities, VCA will be matching client donations, dollar-for-dollar up to $300,000, now through December 31, 2020. Join us in supporting pets like Stella, by making a donation when you visit a VCA hospital, online at vcacharities.org or text HOPE to 213-325-1919. #vcacares #abetterworldforpets #proudlymars

If there’s one thing that’s sure about cats—they make their feelings known (but mostly heard)! We all know they purr when they’re happy, but did you know they also do this when they’re uncomfortable or not feeling well? So, if your cat is purring excessively around other cats and seems upset, it might be time to separate them. 🐈#vcapets
