About Dr. Landau
Michael Landau, MD, is the driving force behind Vein Care Medical Center, which has offices in Beverly Grove and Walnut, California. Dr. Landau specializes in providing nonsurgical procedures to treat both cosmetic and medically necessary vein problems, including leg ulcers and varicose vein disease.
Dr. Landau offers his services as the sole practitioner and proprietor of Vein Care Medical Center, providing endovenous laser ablation treatments with AngioDynamics®-approved equipment. He is one of the few experts in venous diseases (phlebology) who is skilled and versed in the use of duplex ultrasound to better serve his ever-growing patient base.
Dr. Landau earned his bachelor’s degree in biology in 1981 from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and immediately set out for Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine in Illinois, earning his medical degree in 1985. It’s been nonstop for Dr. Landau since then. He completed both his internship and his residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. He then affirmed his ongoing commitment to education by completing a specialized phlebology training program at Vein Clinics of America in Schaumberg, Illinois.
Dr. Landau has also donated his time through consistent volunteer work in a variety of fields, from the Flying Samaritans to the Culver City Community Emergency Response Team. He serves on the advisory board and is also a member of the Medical Reserve Corp of Los Angeles (MRC-LA) in addition to many other volunteer obligations.
Dr. Landau is also a member of several professional associations, including the American Vein & Lymphatic Society (formerly called the American College of Phlebology), the American Medical Association, and the UCLA Alumni Association. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.
