Dr. Michael Ombrellino, MD, FACS
Dr. Ombrellino is board certified in vascular surgery and joined the Group in 2013 when the Vein Institute of NJ joined TCVCG. He is a former Chief of Vascular Surgery at Morristown Medical Center, and remains an active member of the Performance Improvement Committee and as a member of the Surgical Residency Education Committee. Dr. Ombrellino was born in Italy and grew up in Brooklyn, New York where he continues to have ties.
His clinical expertise is in the advanced treatment of venous, arterial and aortic disease.
His primary office is Morristown.

OUR PHYSICIAN PROFILES:
Dr. Scott A. Sundick, MD, FACS
Dr. Sundick joined the practice in 2012 and is board certified in vascular surgery. He is highly trained in endovascular repairs of aortic and thoracic aneurysms as well as carotid artery disease. Dr. Sundick is among the first generation of vascular surgeons who consider themselves "interventionalists" in addition to surgeons. This approach to patient care gives him many tools to diagnose and treat vascular disease, but offers the patients the best of both worlds.
In addition to lower extremity angioplasty and stenting, Dr. Sundick's expertise lies in minimally invasive treatment of aneurysms of the spleen, kidneys and liver, and the treatment of liver cancer and upper gastrointestinal disorders.
His primary office is Westfield.

In honor of Veteran's Day, we would like to send a special thank you to one of our own physicians, DR. MICHAEL D. ADDIS, for his service, sacrifice and hard work.
Dr. Addis served as a Infantry Officer in the United Sates Army for 8 years after graduating from Dartmouth College. He graduated from the US Army Airborne and Ranger Schools before being assigned to the 4th Battalion 18th Infantry in Germany. He served during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for bravery during combat operations against the Iraqi Republican Guard in February of 1991.
We're honored that our own Dr. Clifford Sales has been recognized by NJBIZ as a 2020 Health Care Hero. The program recognizes individuals and organizations across 12 categories for their significant impacts on the health care industry and landscape in New Jersey.

Dr. Brener joined the Cardiovascular Care Group in January 2016. He is firmly committed to providing top-notch, state of the art comprehensive, compassionate care to his patients. He attended Yale University as an undergraduate and Harvard Medical School. He is currently Director of the Vascular Center, Director of Vascular Surgery, Fellowship Program Director for Barnabas Health, and Medical Director of the Vascular lab at Newark Beth Israel.
He is an experienced, well known vascular surgeon who continues to advance traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of vascular disease.
His primary office is Morristown.
