Venture X Richmond is hiring a Part-Time Community Assistant to join the team!
As a Community Assistant, you will be the Community Manager’s right-hand person by assisting primarily with processing member mail, managing community inventory, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive environment for members. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to learn more about the co-working business model.
🟨 About Venture X Richmond:
Venture X Richmond is a professional workspace solution with flexible agreements designed with both individuals & small to large businesses in mind. No leases or long-term contracts required. We offer 5 memberships - shared desk, dedicated desk, private office, community, and virtual. Our space also offers conference rooms, phone booths, and free coffee in our cafe.
Frequent cleaning of common areas and social distancing considerations ensure that members can focus on their work and growing their business.
🟨 Responsibilities:
-Process daily mail for our virtual members. This requires downloading 3 phone apps to scan mail.
-Keep up with the inventory needs of our cafe area, which supplies coffee, tea, and various snack options.
-Make recommendations to enhance space standards, operational efficiency, mail processing, cost savings, and innovative service advancements.
-Other various tasks as determined by the Community Manager
-Work effectively and successfully with our Community Manager, Owner, and Venture X members.
This is the right position for you if you possess the following qualifications:
· Strong time-management skills with the ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines punctually
· Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
· Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
· Creative thinker, always looking for new ways to add value to our members and further strengthen their relationship with Venture X
· Team player who is able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate
🟨 Part-Time Community Assistant Hours:
Approximately 20 hours a week within the 9-5 workday. We’re flexible with what works for our ideal candidate but prime hours would be 10am-3pm. This position has the potential to shift into a full-time role later down the line.
