This was such a fun project working in collaboration with DG Coterie for Hotel Figueroa in #DTLA. A couple weeks back, I shared a concept and draft illustration of a yellow rose, which became a symbol for supporters of women's voting rights. For the 2020 Election, The Fig is an official LA County polling center, and this year also coincides with the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage. The Fig's rich history is deeply rooted in the women’s movement in Los Angeles, because it was founded and built by women in 1926. The hotel wanted to create custom illustrated graphics and stickers that would celebrate both.
