Rescue is redemption. It’s hard. It’s physically and emotionally exhausting. Sometimes the endings are awful because sadly there are not enough homes for all the dogs that need one. But then there are cases like Frank. Frank lost his whole world in a recent murder- suicide event. He was not living his best life even before that tragedy. Scared, broken, and depressed he was rescued. The “Franks” of the world are a beacon of hope for those of us who work in rescue. CLINIC UPDATE + POWER OUTAGE PET TIPS
Our thoughts and prayers are with Louisiana. The clinic will be closed today because there are power lines down blocking roads and no way for our members to get to work ( and we have no power ). Be safe. Check on your neighbors. Check on their pets.
Lastly, often a house without power is more hot than outside. Dogs can indeed get heat stroke inside with no power. If you dog starts to pant, you can put them in a cool tub, wipe them down with wet, cool rag or take them outside under shade with breeze.

One of the best things about a dog is that when they love and trust you... you have genuinely earned it.
They don’t care about your money, your house, your car, your status or any material thing. They only care about your heart, your energy and how you are present with them.
Tank hadn’t come for treatment in a few weeks. And when mom dropped him off, she let us know that he was a little agitated. I’m drawn to these dogs. So many of them are mislabeled and misunderstood. I sat with Tank before his acupuncture. I assured him that he was in a safe place. I showed him love and affection and watched him transform under needles. Because he trusted me. Hi it’s Benny here!❤️ 🐶 I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and wanted to let you know they worked!!! I had my kidney values checked and got great news🎉My creatinine(kidney function) came down a lot! We were at 3.7 and now 2.5 which is getting close to normal again. Also I want to that my holistic vet Dr. G at Vet Naturally for all the great care. I’m taking herbs and getting acupuncture too. I know that’s helping me a lot. The best news is I get to try going down to 3 days a week on my fluids under the skin🎉🎉🎉 Please keep those prayers coming🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ Also biggest thanks to my Mimi Rachel for telling my mom about Dr G😘
