The 😷 "Wear A Mask" 😷 song by Aventura resident Peter Fuchs. Fuchs, a 90-year-old Holocaust survivor, created the catchy jingle to spread awareness of the importance of wearing a mask!
Today, Fuchs resides at the Vi Senior Living in Aventura, where he entertains his fellow residents to keep spirits high during the pandemic.

Who doesn’t love banana bread? In this episode of 'Cooking with Bubbe,' our very own Vi at Aventura resident and host Susan Shovers shares her simple version on this favorite sweet treat. Follow along as she makes her signature Banana Chocolate Chip Loaf.
Here's what you'll need:
(3) very ripe bananas
(1) cup sugar
(1) tsp. vanilla extract
(1) tsp. baking soda
(1) stick butter (melted)
(2) eggs
(2) cups flour
(1/4) tsp. salt
(1) cup chocolate chips
(1) cup chopped walnuts
whipping cream for garnish
In a food processor or mixer, combine bananas, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended. Then, add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour batter into greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan. Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 1 hour. Cool and remove from pan. Sprinkle powdered sugar and a dollop of whip cream over the top and serve.
