My family and I were raised in the missionary field. My first paying job was as a teacher. I took this job so I could pay to go to high school, and eventually, medical school. I earned my medical degree from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Nigeria. I am certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and have completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology.
