PRE-APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of three-month experience or formal training
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening test. (No convicted felonies or abuse cases preferred)
- At least two satisfactory references. A satisfactory reference is a positive, verifiable reference, either verbal or
written, from a former employer (On That Company's Letterhead). Alternatively, another person not related to
you that affirms your ability to provide quality caregiver services.
- Current (WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS) physical and 2 Step PPD Test * (must have before the first day of
employment).
-Two Valid State Identifications (ex. A state ID and social security card).
-Documentation that you have satisfactory completion of competency requirements in providing direct care
services. If you have a nurse's license or other licensure or certification as a health professional, you must
provide a copy of the current license or certification. Agency or professional services include certificates as a
Personal Care Aide/CNA/CHHA/HOME CARE AIDE/CHORES SERVICE AIDES experience preferred. (Ex.
Documentation of satisfactory completion of competency requirements is transferable from one home care
agency or a registry to another home care agency or registry provided the break in your employment or roster
status does not exceed 12 months.
- Must provide a minimum: PASS A WRITTEN CAREGIVER’S COMPETENCY TEST.
As a Professional Caregiver, you will be required to display and perform competency in the following areas:
- Incontinence care
- Bed Bathing, shaving, grooming, and dressing. Hair, skin, and mouth care
- Assistance with ambulation, transfers, and use of a Hoyer lift.
- Meal preparation and feeding.
- Assistance with self-administered medications.
- Consumer control and the independent living philosophy. Instrumental activities of daily living.
- Recognizing changes in the consumer that need to be addressed. Basic infection control.
- Universal precautions.
- Handling of emergencies.
- Current medication administration, CPR and First Aid certifications, and RELATED certificates are a plus.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Our consumers need caregivers that take the initiative are dependable, on time, skilled, helpful, and
compassionate.
- Ability to work scheduled weekends and holidays AND WHEN NEEDED.
- Ability to follow client care plans.
- Ability to work 1:1 to 1:3 client to staff ratio.
- Experience/Ability to practice safe transfer techniques and use of transferring equipment a plus.
- Ability to work independently on overnight shifts at our independent living site assisting co-workers with our
physically disabled and developmental disabled clients as needed during sleeping hours.

We are a licensed Non-Medical Home Care Agency serving the areas of Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Lead Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the management of the staffing department for Victory Support Services, Inc. Home Care. Areas of focus in this position are: care planning, assistance in census building, communication, scheduling, documentation, training, billing and payroll preparation, innovative thinking, working knowledge of general practices and regulatory standards and customer service.
• Communicates personally and professionally with all clients, family members, staff and team members
• Assures that communications that should be documented in HHAexhange are done quickly and efficiently, on a daily basis, to avoid timing and communication errors.
• Trains and oversees other staffing personnel and provides leadership and guidance for sound decision making and customer service within the staffing department.
• Is extremely proficient in the use of HHAexhange, PROMISE system and maximizes the systems potential
• Is responsible for initial and on-going training of caregiver staff and department team members
• Prepares data in HHAexhange to be transmitted for payroll and billing
• Establishes professional, trusting relationships with clients, families and staff
