Moonpie Starbox July 21 at 5:00 AM · We just wanted to share a short public service announcement video we made for the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security. We are spreading some awareness about the importance of having a preparedness kit in case of an evacuation from natural disasters such as floods, wildfires, and in some states, hurricanes. Many people, including us, don't realize that most emergency shelters don't allow pets. Families need to make plans for their pets before a disaster hits. Pets should not be left behind, so please have an evacuation plan to include safe places you can go to that can accomodate pets. Thank you everyone.
In respect to COVID-19, we have been keeping a very close eye on the situation locally as it pertains to the health and safety of you and your furry companions. We are closely following city, state and federal government advice and guidelines in relation to our operations. To minimize the risk of COVID-19 exposure for our clients and staff. Following are the guidelines for your visit: • When you arrive for your appointment, text us from your vehicle when you have arrived at 719-219-8569. • When we have a room ready for you, we will text you to enter the clinic and will take you directly to an exam room. • One person per pet. (Exceptions made for extenuating circumstances). • Please respect social distancing when inside the clinic. • Masks are to be worn at all times inside the building. For any of our clients who wish to keep human contact at a minimum, we are happy to provide a car side check in to the hospital. When you call to schedule your companion’s appointment just let our staff members know you wish to stay in your vehicle. When you arrive, text the office to notify the staff you have arrived. Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns. We hope everyone stays safe and we will continue to update, as necessary. Thank you for your cooperation.

To our valued clients and patients: As Covid-19 cases are increasing rapidly in the area we need to make some modifications in our practice in order to continue providing needed medical care for our patients while protecting the health of the community and our staff. We have shifted to a curbside model of practice and we are currently only taking cases that have medically urgent or time sensitive needs. Our new protocol until the virus is less active in the community will be: Clients are to call or text from the car when they arrive. (719) 219-8569 We will send an employee out to gather a history for the problem bring the pet inside for evaluation while owners remain in the car. A doctor will evaluate the pet and then call the owner to discuss diagnostics, results and treatment plans. We will return the pet to the car with any medication that might be needed and then collect payment over the phone by credit card. We will permit in clinic presence for euthanasia.
