The FDA has issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) for both the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines. When making your choice about the COVID-19 vaccine, please keep in mind that the temporary side effects associated with the vaccines contain far less risk than if you were to contract the COVID-19 virus. The more individuals that get vaccinated, the closer we become to reaching the herd immunity needed to put a stop to COVID-19.
