About

Vineyard Primary Care was founded in 2015 by Dr. Jeremy Luckett, a pioneer in internal medicine who wanted to create a place for the people of Owensboro, Kentucky, to receive thorough health care in a professional, but comfortable environment.
Dr. Luckett provides a wealth of services to the community, including care for the flu, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, pneumonia, and many other ailments. With a convenient in-house lab draw, you won’t even have to leave the office for blood work in order to diagnose your illness. Nurse practitioner Christina Wilkerson is certified by the Department of Transportation (DOT) as a medical examiner to provide physicals to those who need medical cards to legally do their jobs.
By putting the patient at the center of every single treatment plan, they succeed in creating a warm environment that’s driven by results. If you, or someone you love needs a general care practitioner to help you stay healthy, or get healthy, contact Vineyard Primary Care today. They’ll discuss your medical history, family history, and address any concerns you might currently have. Dr. Luckett and Christina Wilkerson, APRN look forward to giving you the quality health care you deserve.

Just a reminder that we will be closed next week for Fall Break. 10/3-10/11. Please be sure to call before 11:30 on Friday if you have medications that will need to be filled next week. We will re-open on 10/12. Enjoy some time to relax and if you will be traveling be safe!
🚨Announcement🚨 Our office will be closed this Friday, September 11th, for a staff meeting/retraining. We apologize for the inconvenience. Any refill requests need to be sent/called by tomorrow, if you have a medication due before Monday. FYI...our wonderful VPC team is super excited about the mandatory meeting (insert sarcasm) 😜💚
Today was bittersweet as we said farewell to an amazing employee. She has been an asset to VPC since day one and there is no doubt she will succeed wherever she goes. Courtney, thank you for the hard work and dedication you’ve given. We wish you the very best, we will miss you tremendously, and will always have a place in the VPC family. #latertraitor #VPCfamily 💚💚💚💚💚
Just a friendly reminder: Our office will be closed Monday (9/7) for Labor Day. If you will be needing a refill during the long weekend, you can have your pharmacy send us a request, call and leave a detailed voicemail on one of the nurse lines, or send us a request through your patient portal (if you have one). As always, we close at noon on Fridays so make sure to get those requests in before then. Happy early Labor Day, and God Bless!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Happy Anniversary to VPC!! It’s been 5 years since moving into this building. Dr. Luckett, Tasia, and Danielle are the 3 OG’s, but we love our growing VPC Family.💚 Here’s to another 5 years!! #VPCfamily #TeamVPC 🥳💚🥰
On behalf of all of us at VPC, we’d like to give a HUGE shoutout and well wishes to a very special young man to our VPC family. Tomorrow, he leaves for basic training. Derek Hall we appreciate all the hard work you’ve put in, and all the help you’ve given us the past 3yrs. We are all so proud of you, and admire you for making this sacrifice for our great country. We wish you the best of luck, and will be praying for you (and your momma, she probably needs the prayers more.) Even though we will all have more cookies to eat after you’re gone, we are going to miss seeing your sweet face in the office. #VPCfamily #ThankYouHeroes 💚🇺🇸🎗
Vineyard Primary Care 13 hrs · Out of an abundance of caution we have decided to close the office today because one of the employees tested positive for COVID19. All employees are being tested to ensure we do not continue to spread the virus to others. Once we know the status of all the employees we will make decisions about re-opening. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our patients but feel it is our responsibility to protect others and the community by being diligent and thorough in this situation. We have acted swiftly upon hearing this news in order to prevent further spread of the virus. Employees will still be working from home to provide refills and answers to questions as best we can. As always if any patient has symptoms that concern them please call and we will order testing should that be necessary. As mentioned above we acted swiftly upon hearing this news so please know the likelihood of further spread is very low but we want to be responsible in this situation. We are working with the hospital and the health department to ensure the safety of our patients and we will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Rest assured the office is being cleaned thoroughly as well prior to reopening. The safety of our patients remains our paramount concern.

💕A Legacy Story in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month💕 Kailen Combs Taylor was and is a huge inspiration. She lived a life full of grace, strength, wisdom beyond her years, and a will to fight like no one I’ve ever known. Kailen was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at the tender age of 22, fought the fight for 3 years and 3 days and passed away September 15, 2015 at the age of 25. Every year in October when I see all the pink ribbons, and Breast Cancer Awareness fundraisers, I Immediately think of Kailen. Throughout Kailen’s battle she had a blog where she bravely and beautifully gave updates regarding her journey. Towards the end, her husband took over the blog. After she passed, Bryan continued the blog. Eventually starting his own and writing two phenomenal, life changing books, “Even If You Don’t” and “The Lazarus Within.” I never knew Kailen personally, but between her blog and the two books her husband has written, it’s nearly impossible not to create an emotional attachment to her. Her strength, faith, and beautiful smile will forever have an impact on my life. As well as countless others all over the world. She also made it obvious that she had 4 things she was most passionate about. 1. Jesus. She never gave up faith, even when she was faced with impossible situations that would make any normal person question their faith. Kailen didn’t. Kailen gave all glory to god, and trusted his plan for her. 2. Her husband, Bryan. They were like a fairytale from beginning to end. Every photo you see of them together, it’s obvious the eternal love they shared. 3. Her beautiful family. Parents and siblings, that she was undoubtedly very close to. 4. Kentucky basketball. (This may be #2, but I’m going to let Bryan keep the #2 spot 😉) Kailen’s slogan was “Think Pink, Wear Blue.” She was very proud of her KY roots and a proud member of BBN. Bryan and I grew up together in the same small town, in Ohio County. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with him to ask permission to share Kailen’s story. I originally asked if he would do the writing (since he’s a writer and all), but he felt it was more meaningful coming from someone that has been impacted by Kailen’s story. He did, however, share a beautiful description of his wife for me to share with everyone. "Kailen was, and is, all the words I don't know, all the colors I cannot see. She was a heavenly diaspora, magical and otherworldly. Because, of course, she was quite literally meant for another place, for Heaven, and she lived her life in such a way, with such immutable joy and resilient hope, that though her physical presence has been in Heaven for over 5 years, her influence and her legacy live on in the lives of all those who hear her story. In so few words, she outlived her life. I am aware of no greater human aspiration than to love and to hope with such a miraculous fervor that one's influence outlasts their body. Kailen did just that. And it was her prayer, and mine, that our struggle would encourage hurting hearts and affirm the afflicted that no matter what they endure, they never endure it alone." -Bryan Taylor Kailen may have lost her battle, but she has undoubtedly won the war. There’s not a doubt in my mind that she’s looking down from Heaven right now, proud of the legacy she has created and of her wonderful husband who has not given up on keeping her legacy alive. -Chani Lamb, Office Manager #TeamKCT #ThinkPinkWearBlue #EvenIfYouDont #TheLazarusWithin
