Spectacular LVT Alert!!! 🙌🐾💪❤️
🐾🐾 Meet Elizabeth Dove, LVT 🐾🐾
Here is just a little bit about what makes this teammate amazing;
“I was born in Virginia but I’ve lived many places. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a vet. As I got older and learned more about the field and I realized vet tech was the career for me. Thise nurses are the ones yhat get to be with the fur babies everybstep of the way! I started my journey at Vinton Vet in November 2014 and I’ve loved it since that moment. I’m so grateful that God has brought me to this team. There have been great days with my patients and there have been hard days but I wouldn’t change a thing. I keep collecting animals from Vinton Vet too! My zoo includes my poodle, a 3-legged chihuahua, a crusty cat and a blind kitten. I have a passion and a love for all things poodles and doodles and everyone knows I can’t focus when all thise pets come in to see me! Outside of VVH, my husband Zach and I love hanging out with our zoo, mountain biking and just enjoying life!”
We 💙 you Elizabeth!

This sweet kitty, Sydney, needs a new home.
Sydney is a 6 year old female spayed domestic long hair looking for a forever home. She would do best in a home without other pets (cats and dogs) or small children as she is very timid. Her dream home would be with an owner who would allow her to sit and knead most of the day. She is Healthy with Recent full labwork (will get it done, update her vax, and do a shave down with bath before rehoming.) SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. If your household does not match the above description, please consider that before reaching out.
We couldn’t 💙 this message more! Thank you to our friends at Fleet Feet Roanoke for this wonderful mantra and a fun way to spread it! We completely agree! Be kind to our incredibly hardworking team and others! 💙🐾 We would 💚 to fill this flower bed full of signs promoting joy, wellness, happiness and kindness!!! 🙌🙌🙌

Here is a little bit about our new doc:
A native of Reston, VA, Dr. Gallagher obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. Prior to veterinary school, he pursued a scientific career investigating the pathology of snake envenomation and novel therapies for schizophrenia. In 2009 he graduated with his doctorate from Va-MD College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Gallagher worked for a number of years in Roanoke, Blacksburg and northern Virginia, and is thrilled to be back in the New River Valley! His home has been a refuge for a multitude of cats, dogs, and birds and when not working Dr. Gallagher enjoys spending time with his wife and their six wonderful children.
