Chevrolet is known for some of its amazing 3-row SUVs, one of the newest ones, and now the most popular is the 2021 Chevy Traverse. With a sleek new design, 3 rows, and the newest Chevy driver assistance program the Traverse is one of the best SUVs to lease in 2021. In Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, it can be leased for less than $370 per month! For this series let’s doa review of the best features of the 2021 Traverse.
Interior
The Chevy Traverse is a 3 row midsize SUV. This makes it unique as it won’t feel and react like a giant bus when you are driving it, but is very manageable all the way while seating 8 passengers.
The cargo space is well utilized with 23 cubic feet behind the third row. But the second and third-row can both completely fold down opening up 98.2 cubic feet in total cargo space. It also comes with a nice 7-inch touch screen infotainment display that comes with all the standard features you would expect in 2021
Engine
The engine of the 2021 Traverse is a well built Chevrolet engine that provides the power and acceleration it needs. It comes with a 310 HP V6 engine with an automatic transmission that transmissions smooth to each gear. There are options for both a Front Wheel Drive for everyday road driving and All Wheel Drive for superior traction and control on wet surfaces.
The FWD gets an estimated 18 mpg in the city while the AWD version gets just slightly less at 17 mpg.
Safety
The Chevrolet Traverse has an outstanding 5-star overall safety rating according to the NHTSA for both AWD and FWD versions. To top that off, it comes with all the fully loaded driver assistance tech that Chevrolet includes on their 2021 lineup. This includes rearview cameras and sensors, forward collision warning, and everything in between.

Chevrolet has always been high quality and popular full-size SUVs. In many ways, their two largest SUVs compete against each other and in 2021 have been made even better than previous years. We are of course talking about the brand new 2021 Tahoe and the 2021 Suburban. Both of these 3 row large SUVs are similarly priced and come with some of the newest features that new Chevrolet Vehicles have to offer. For many years now both models have been rated in the top 3 of the best large SUVs and with very good reason. This is a review of some of the best features in the new Tahoe and Suburban.
Interior
The Chevy Tahoe and the Chevy Suburban are both large full size 3 row SUVs. This means they have a seating capacity of up to 8 adults. The first and second rows in both SUVs are similar in size and can comfortably seat most adults. The third row, as is common in 3 rows SUVs is slightly smaller, and can sit adults for shorter trips but is better suited for teens or children for longer periods of time. The 3rd row is easy to access because the 2nd rows can slide and fold up or down to allow easier access. Not only that but in both models, the 2nd and 3rd rows can collapse completely down to massively increase the cargo-carrying space. The Suburban has the most with a maximum of 144 cubic feet of cargo space when the last 2 rows are folded down and the Tahoe has about 122 cubic feet. The suburban is slightly longer and wider which can make a difference in storage space and for people sitting in the third row.
Both SUVs come with large 10.2-inch touchscreen LCD infotainment displays that include wifi, hotspot, satellite, HD radio, navigation, and full integration of both Apple and Android devices.
Engine
The 2021 Tahoe and the 2021 Suburban both have the same excellent options for the engine.
5.3-liter V8 that makes 355 horsepower
6.2-liter V8 with 420 horsepower
Duramax turbo diesel 3.0-liter inline 6 with 277 horsepower
These strong and powerful engines are necessary to power SUVs of this size and come with plenty of benefits. For example the large towing capacity. The new Tahoe can tow up to 8,400 pounds and the Suburban can tow up to 8,300 with the proper setup. This is more than enough for towing boats, trailers, most RVs or anything else you and your family are looking to do.
The fuel efficiency is competitive in the full-size SUV market with about 15 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway, This varies based on the trim level, whether you are using FWD or AWD and of course the engine.
There are off-road trims of both the Tahoe and Suburban. The Z71 comes with better all-terrain tires, skid plates, tow hooks, and four corner air ride adaptive suspension. But because of the large size and weight of both vehicles, it is probably not the first pick for off-road fun.
Safety
What good would a full-size family SUV be without excellent safety ratings intended to protect you and your family? The Tahoe and the Suburban have always done very well with its NHTSA safety ratings. In the last years, both the RWD and 4WD models received above average 4-star overall safety ratings and front crash ratings and a perfect 5-star rating for side crash.
With the proper trim and upgrades, you can have plenty of assistance with the Chevrolet Driver Assistance technology. Both SUVs come with up to 9 camera angles to help eliminate blind spots and help with backing-up or hooking up the trailer. Plus features like:
