My approach to care is holistic. I view the family unit as essential to the health and well-being of every child. I know that a child's physical health is intimately interconnected to his or her mental, emotional and spiritual health. I understand that your role as a parent is vital and that you are your child's MOST important teacher and life advocate. I also understand that family life is messy! In the middle of the mess, however, is exactly where a child learns love, trust, boundaries, tolerance, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and reconciliation. I am a mother of 5 children, 2 of whom were adopted from the foster system. Having said that, I have a lot of not only professional experience, but personal experience treating a wide variety of medical and behavioral challenges. I seek to listen compassionately and support both you and your child in whatever way I can. I feel privileged to be a part of your journey!
