Good afternoon everyone,
By now, I assume most of you have heard about Govenor Wolf's mandatory closure of some businesses in Pennsylvania effective at 8:00PM last evening with enforcement starting at 12:01AM Saturday morning. I have purposely held off on sending out anything to the full membership in the event there were any updates today. I have not seen any. The list put out by the governor's office shows that Specialized Freight Trucking is considered to be a Life Sustaining Business. From what I can see, household goods moving falls under that category. They only give two categories for Truck Transportation, General Freight Trucking or Specialized Freight Trucking. There is nothing specific regarding household goods movers so it does appear that movers can still do business at this time. You can find everything if you go to https://pacast.com/. Of course, ultimately, the decision is up to the individual business owner.
