Virtual Consult MD is seeking a motived and energetic Certified Medical Assistant with clinical experience for our busy Evansville, Indiana office. We provide Psychiatric and Neurological medical services to children, adolescent and adults within the Tri-state area.
Primary Job responsibilities include:
Basic understanding of medical office policies and procedures.
Manage incoming and outgoing calls & faxes.
Triaging patients and obtaining vitals. Performing intakes with comprehensive history taking.
Performing Urine Toxicology and Genetic Testing
Gathering patient's medical records
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Role and Responsibilities
As a Clinical Psychologist for Virtual Consult MD, you will be responsible for the provision of psychological service, including testing, evaluation and counseling. Help make tomorrow better for countless human beings, as you work with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement behavioral health care plans for at-risk patients.
Conduct psychological tests and assessments, evaluate and intervene where appropriate in the psychosocial aspects of the patients’ and/or families’ lives and discuss best practices for behavior management. Maintain clinical records and perform other related duties as required.

Principle Responsibilities Include:
Assess the psychosocial needs of a patient and determine the most suitable treatment plan for the patient and/or family.
Perform diagnostic interviews, including full psychological testing and evaluations on all new patients.
Provide psychological counseling as needed to patients and/or their family.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family and/or other office professional staff.
Refer patients who require medical management or higher-level care to appropriate healthcare provider and/or agency/service.
Collaborate with supervising psychiatrist regarding results of testing, evaluations, and outcomes of counseling sessions as required by state law, and/or as appropriate.
Complete documentation for every patient encounter that includes summary of care provided and any recommendations for follow-up care.
Participate in Quality Assurance activities, office meetings and conferences, as requested.
Education Requirements:
Master’s degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-approved clinical psychology program
Qualifications:
Current licensure to practice psychology in the State of Indiana
All necessary credentials as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP)
Work Experience:
A minimum of two (2) year practicing as a Clinical Psychologist
Training in psychological/psychosocial assessment techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and educational development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
