In 1969, Lyn Rothwell led the efforts of a group of community leaders to found Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association to provide home health care in Douglas County. Thanks to Lyn and those who supported and assisted her, VNA opened an office in an unfinished basement on February 2, 1969. In the 52 years since, VNA has faced and overcome many challenges to continue to care for patients in their homes. Thank you for trusting us to care for your loved ones and for all of the support you have provided us over the years! We are so proud to be a part of such a wonderful community.
Here is something fun for your Friday! We have a special treat for you this week! A patient of ours and her husband shared their wonderful musical talents with us and we want to share that joy with you! We'll post a song they sang for us later this week, but here is something fun to hold you over until then.
