Hey everyone. We now have protective eyewear that can be worn as is or can be made with a prescription. Can’t say they are the most fashionable looking frames, but they do the job of protecting yours eyes extremely well. Call us to set up a time to check them out.
The boards are down! We are open again! Masks are still on the girls. New hours for now. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9 to 5:30, Thursday 9 to 7, Saturday 10 to 5. Closed Sunday and Tuesday. Call ahead to set up a time for service. We are still mostly by appointment for the foreseeable future.
How’s this for a change. I was going to post our new hours starting today. Instead I’m showing off our new exterior. What a crazy day to have to board up the front. Let’s hope this can come down soon. Many storefronts on Armitage look like this now. Stay safe everyone.

Hello everyone. We will reopen for business on Monday, May 11. Through the end of May days open will be limited. Hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm. June 1 we will resume normal hours, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9 am to 5 pm, Thursday 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.
In compliance with the CDC and state guidelines, all visits must be scheduled for the foreseeable future. You can call 312-504-1014 until May 11, then 773-281-0200 after we open, or you can book through our website. All exams and frame selection must have an appointment. For quick visits (repairs, adjustments and pick ups) please call ahead. All visitors must have a mask or face covering to enter. Please, if you are not feeling well, put off your visit.

We finally have an anti fog lens spray that works. Nothing will eliminate fogging, so if I say this works to reduce indoor fogging by about 80% and outside fogging by about 50 to 60% it’s worth $15.
