SHOULD I TAKE SUPPLEMENTS?
This is a pretty hot topic in the wellness industry with contradictory responses.
Many people today are supplementing their diets with anything from a multivitamin and protein powder to antioxidant elixers. However, the answer to this question is not clear cut.
Every body is unique. Plus, everybody is in a different part of his or her life experiencing any number of varying conditions.
A normally healthy person going through an intensely stressful period of life for a month or more may need supplements. After the stressful period ends, the supplements may no longer be necessary. It’s something that varies per person, depending on the current condition which is always in flux.
The fact is that no supplement can replace quality, whole foods, sleep, and healthful living.
Supplements can be beneficial .But,they need to be addressed and monitored by a wellness professional.
If you believe you may benefit from supplements, seek professional care first. Also, focus on eating a balanced diet of lean protein, healthy fats and lots of fresh produce.

Did you know ….
Garfield most famously hated Mondays (and loved lasagna), but the sentiment is familiar.
Much as a Friday afternoon brings feelings of elation, a Monday morning can bring on a sense of unhappy resignation.
So, what can we do to make our Mondays great?
1. Stop living for the weekends. Find something you love to do and do it on a weeknight.
2. Plan Sunday night. Figure out lunch and your outfit the night before and you won’t be scrambling Monday morning. If have children get them organized as well to start the week off on a good foot.
3. Sleep Early on Sunday. Being tired will only add to the stress of a hectic Monday.
4. Don’t skip breakfast. This is true everyday but especially on Mondays when you have been out of your routine for a few days. It is a great way to set the pace for the rest of the day for both your mind and body.
5. Get pumped with some tunes. Listening to a favorite song can help boost your Monday morning mood ,if you have children do this with them too !
8. Get some exercise. In the morning. Before work. This can be a great way to boost your immune system and lift your endorphins, making you happier throughout the day.
9. Look snazzy. Wear something you absolutely love. If you already feel groggy, dressing sloppy will only make you feel worse.
10. Smile
Remember "Positivity always wins…Always.
A healthy lifestyle requires BALANCE !
Our lifestyle is the way we live. It is composed of a variety of elements and habits: what we eat, what we drink, our level of exercise, how well we sleep, how well we manage stress and adapt to stressful situations.
When your body is balanced, you thrive.
When your work and relationships are fulfilling, you thrive.
It all starts with you. And we can evaluate and treat you to guide you to your optimal self. It's time to live the life you love.
It's time to take back your health. It's time to be well and be happy.
This Spring, everyone suddenly started working from home and our children are now on distance learning paths.
So, what does this mean for our children?
Most of us are disillusioned into thinking that children are so pliable that they can’t get injured. False.
Children love sports, but they don’t stretch enough. As a result, like many athletes, they have very tight hamstrings. The body is connected. If the hammies are tight, they pull on the low back, causing low back pain and tightness. Children also like to play games on their devices, which puts abnormal strain on the back of the neck, creating what’s known as “tech neck.” This combination is the perfect storm that results in chronic pain as an adult .Especially with DISTANT LEARNING !
Tech neck is the most common problem for our children especially now with the new Covid Stay at home orders in place our children are distant learning. Kids are spending too much time in poor posture, seated with the shoulders hunched, ribcage collapsed, neck bent forward. It’s the posture for studying, drawing, writing, reading, and using devices.
How can we change this for our children?
