What is MASKNE?
Acne and irritation from wearing a face mask. Friction from wearing a mask can disrupt your skin barrier, causing irritation and inflammation. Also, masks can trap oil, dirt and sweat on the skin, causing flare-ups of acne and Rosacea.
To treat you maskne we have the W Maskne facial:
1) Dermaplaning - to remove trapped dirt and oil
2) Clarifying peel - Acids lift away dead cells and erode blackheads
3) Forever Clear BBL treatment - to kill the Acne bacteria and help heal light acne scars
4) Hyaluronic Acid mask with collagen - to re-establish skin moisture and nourish your skin

At W Skin Studio, we recommend:
1) Cleansing before and after wearing your mask. We have a brand new W Skin. Triple Action Foaming Cleanser with salicylic and glycolic acids to prevent oil and dead skin build-up that leads to clogged pores
2) Use a lightweight moisturizer in the day
W Skin. Oil- free moisturizer keeps skin hydrated without being heavy
3) Sunscreen
We carry Elta MD Clear SPF 46 that is very lightweight and for acne-prone sensitive skin
4) Nighttime is for Repairing!!
W Skin. Dermal Renewal cream with growth factor creates a strong skin barrier on the skin letting the peptides, vitamin C and E, ferulic acid, and growth factor to repair. Can be used with or without your Tretinoin/ Retin-A

UPNEEQ is used for the treatment of blepharoptosis in adults. Blepharoptosis (also known as ptosis or droopyeyelids) is a common disorder of the eyelid that can affect one or both eyes, ranging in severity. It is often caused by stretching of or reduced nervous input to the muscles that raise the upper eyelid. This disorder can occur any time, but is most often associated with aging. When left untreated, blepharoptosis can impact a patient's visual function. Not everyone who suffers from this is a good candidate for surgery making this drop an incredible treatment for our patients!

This 52 year old patient has volume loss around his chin which has created unwanted lines and dimpling. Debbie injected Restylane USA Defyne to the area resulting in a smoother appearance and more support for his lips.

This patient received dermal filler to her lips, chin and nasolabial folds. Debbie refers to the volume loss around her chin as a “thumb print” which can make her smoother lips appear disproportionate. The volume added in the nasolabial folds smooths existing lines and lessens the appearance of jowls.

RHA 4 is used to build volume on her cheek bones and enhance her contour.
RHA 3 is used through a cannula to smooth out her nasolabial folds. You can see immediate results in the photo with an arrow!

This patient underwent a brow lift, NOT an upper blepharoplasty! Thomas suffered from droopy upper lids which can lead to impaired vision (ptosis).
Often, because the issue has developed over time, the eyebrows do the heavy lifting –the brow actually lifts the upper eyelid. And like anything that is overused, the tissue can stretch resulting in drooping of the forehead and eyebrows.
In most cases, a patient with ptosis will need excess skin on the eyelid removed or their eyelid muscle tightened to achieve results and improve their vision. However, Thomas was experiencing significant drooping in his brow muscle, which allowed success from just one procedure, a brow lift.
