Wagner Tree Farm team out in The Garden today working to eliminate ponding issues like in this photo, taken during some of the heavy rains recently. Part of their preparation for the irrigation system and installation of sod coming later this month. This has been a long awaited progress and we are so happy to be moving forward on it! We thank Aaron and Monica and their company for being a partner with Keep Santa Fe Beautiful. 💛🌳💛

Feels like a MONDAY 😬 dead battery, no plates on the trailer yet (swear I’m going to do that today). We are coming for ya Galveston just 3 hrs late but who’s counting 🤷♀️. 4 dayz till Fri-yay 😊
Months of planning and meeting and coordinating, we have successfully started the “Dog park on 83rd” in Galveston. We are moving trees that Dr. Creech (SFA) and his students have grown successfully in salty conditions at Moody Gardens research center. Thanks to everyone for the valuable role they played in this project! Hope to wrap up in a few days ❤️🌳 🐶

KSFB board president, Stacey Baker, board secretary, Rebecca Wright, and the City of Santa Fe City Hall Parks Board chair, Joanne Woolsey, were hard at work volunteering on this cold Texas day. Thanks to these wonderful ladies, we now have beautiful flowers by the gazebo. 🥰
Irrigation is complete and was tested, all is good and ready for Wagner Tree Farm to lay sod in the next few weeks. 👍
Della Meredith Chainsaw Carvings is almost finished with the tree sculpture and final touches will be wrapped up tomorrow. 🪵

3 Pindo palms installed today. These are fresh pics today after our freeze. ❄️❄️❄️❄️🥶 I will let the trees speak for themselves. 🌴
I ordered a few of these for myself and wanted to see if anyone else is interested in them- they are called Spanish Daggers don’t worry they are freeze 🥶 tolerant to -20 degrees. 😂 I’m adding a few around my fire pit area, but would look cool around a pool or in a large pot.
