Good morning everyone,
After testing our staff, we have discovered a false negative. While we did open yesterday, the individual was not for here that service.
However in abundance of caution to my staff and all of our patrons, I have decided to not risk their health and have returned to keeping our restaurant closed. When we decide to reopen, will start on a carryout only basis. In the meantime, we will continue to retest our staff.
Thank you all for your support and kind words. We've been bere 32 years because of you and we'll get through it!
Opening today. ALL CLEAR...
Yesterday evening we had learned that one of our staff has tested positive for COVID-19.
The case was asymptomatic, and was discovered after a precautionary test unrelated to our restaurant and staff.
At this time we will be remaining closed until all of our staff undergo their own testing and we will give our building a throrough cleaning.
In the meantime, please keep supporting our other local, family own restaurants here in Porter and Chesterton!

We are reopened!!!!
Well somewhat opened, after much consideration I've decided to only open up for carry out and starting November 5th delivery.
this is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make.
But given the current spike in covid numbers in Indiana i believe it is the only option on the
table. This is not a political statement i simply believe control is better then no control...

I would like to take a moment to think all the customers for their support. this has been a very long and trying year for all small businesses. I have absolutely no idea what will happen next or the next shoe to drop. And for that reason I will keep Wagner's dining rooms closed For the foreseeable future.. We are still doing carry out ,curbside pickup and we also started deliver..

Wagners Annual Rib Fest is on!! $19.00 for a Full slab, bake potato and slaw (no substitutes) This year will be a little different, imagine that. Our dining Room will be closed but curbside pick up and delivery available (visit Wagnerribs.com) We also have a limited menu on NYD.

I keep hearing a rumor that our dining room will be opening again in the next couple weeks.
And that is correct!
So I need some help from everyone. Like and share this post. I’ll update with an exact date when I find that out. Until then, you can still place an order for pick-up or delivery.
So we are going to need a few more servers, delivery drivers, and a day time dishwasher.
