Our identification cards and driver licenses are the one thing that we all carry around almost everywhere we go. These cards that most of us carry around are the single most present piece of art and represent our identity and the great state that we call home. These cards should be beautiful, a credit to our state, and a point of pride for all Coloradans and to make that happen, we need help from our deep pool of talented creators.

In case you missed it, earlier this week, Colorado became the 11th state to ban the LGTBQ+ “panic defense”, a controversial legal strategy that allows defendants to blame their own violent behavior — including murder — on a victim’s sexual orientation or gender identity. I’m so thankful that this senseless and homophobic defense will never be used in our State courts again.

Street drugs in Boulder County have been found to contain Fentanyl. They are Xanax and Oxycodone 30 mg pills currently being circulated in the community. Fentanyl is 50-100 times more potent than heroin, and significantly increases the risk of death from accidental overdose.
