Louis Hatcher '90, and his wife Ovaline, have been Cumberland supporters for many years. Recently they helped initiate the new Law Student Emergency Assistance Fund (LEAF) that supports Cumberland students in need. And, there will soon be a newly renovated classroom in Robinson Hall, thanks to their generosity.
Read their story and why they give back to Cumberland School of Law.

Remembering Martin Luther King, Jr.
This year, in order to commemorate the continued expansion of Watson Spence and its recently added Atlanta office, not only did we add a 13th day of giving, but also a 14th day of giving. For our 14th day we have chosen Crime Stoppers, a non-profit organization that facilitates the anonymous reporting and rewarding of those who report crimes in our community. Here at Watson Spence, we believe our citizens deserve safe neighborhoods and secure businesses, and we want to do our part by joining the efforts of Hugh Nall in asking our community members to become more directly and personally involved in ensuring our communities are safe and prosperous.
Yet again, Watson Spence adds a 13th Day to their 12 Days of Giving campaign. Today, the Watson Spence Atlanta office is giving $1000 to Helping Mamas. This baby supply bank helps mamas in need. Diapers, baby bottles, and clothing are just a few items they provide. This year the organization has seen a huge spike in those needing assistance. This is due to many women having to quit their jobs to stay home with their children because of COVID restrictions. Watson Spence understands the need to care for mamas because…mamas know best!
