Covid19 Update- May 20th, 2020
We are excited to announce that we will be opening our doors for clients only to drop off or pick up tax documents. We will be following social distancing guidelines and sanitizing surfaces after each interaction.
We will not be scheduling any in person meetings yet. We are still preparing and want to make sure our staff and our clients are safe before we can set those meetings. We are still checking our Drop Box in the back if you prefer to contactless interactions.
New Lobby Hours:

Please call us with any questions! Thank you for your patience and understanding. -Wausau Tax & Accounting Staff
IRS Stimulus Check Program has started, but there are many glitches with the system. They have links on the IRS.GOV to enter Direct Deposit info, and for non-filers. It is possible some of those links will still have problems.
-If entering your address, make sure it is exactly like it was on the return.
-If that doesn't work, check your 2018 return address (before Marathon County made the 6 digit change)
We have also heard that people with a Schedule C on their return have also had problems with the payments going through.
Our advice is to continue to check IRS Website. Hopefully things get fixed soon!

We are still closed to clients coming into the office and will be for the foreseeable future. We do have limited staff that will be answering phone calls and responding to the many questions we have been getting. Thank you for your understanding!
We are following the request and have officially closed down for this week and possibly next week. We are attempting to have a limited staff work at times to keep working on returns and completing payroll for our clients. We will be in touch with those who have returns still not filed as soon as we can.
********* Revised Office Hours **********
We are open for drop offs and picking up today Monday March 23rd.
The rest of this week and next week we will be open Tuesday & Thursday only 8:00am- 4:00pm
We have many employees staying home during this uncertain time to stay safe, take care of children, etc.
We will continue to complete returns as fast as we can, but ask for your patience during this unprecedented time.
The due dates have been pushed back for both Federal & Wisconsin Return Filing until July 15th, so the pressure of the April 15th Deadline is no longer on any of us.
Thank you- the staff at Wausau Tax & Accounting
As we get ready for the upcoming tax season, we know there will be many challenges to work through. First, the IRS is not accepting returns until Feb 12th. We also will be limiting face to face meetings. We are encouraging drop offs, and we have a secure portal for you to upload information. We are sending out a letter to our clients in the upcoming few days that explains all of this.
Always our Hero, Always in our Hearts, Never Forgotten. Miss you Jason.
