"Breaking news: For the 2nd time in 72 hours the COMEX has again raised margin requirements on silver futures contracts. I haven't been able to determine if they also did the same to gold contracts.
Raising the margin requirements is a blatant tactic to try to knock down prices. Almost always when this happens, it is then followed by a major effort to clobber gold and silver prices even further.
So, prices may dip some tomorrow, but keep your mind focused on the important point from this development--if the CME is forced to raise silver margin requirements 3 times in 72 hours that is a HUGE signal of markets desperately short of silver inventories. The greater the shortage, the higher prices will soon rise."
