Katie started working at West Davis Veterinary Clinic on August of 2012. She worked as a kennel technician for three years before pursuing her certification as a veterinary assistant. She has three dogs and one cat. Nala is West Davis's official blood donor dog. In her off time she enjoys going to the beach and camping with her family.

“I've been working as a Veterinary Technician for West Davis since 2009 and I truly enjoy my job. I can honestly say that I love waking up and going to work. As a child I always wanted to work with animals, I rememeber collecting all the stray animals and giving my mom a heart attack every time I would come with a new animal (sorry mom!). On my time off I enjoy spending time with my family, my kiddos and fiance. I have 2 cats (Mac & Muffins), and 2 dogs (Xena a Cane Corso and Princess a boxer) Life is good!"

We are so excited and proud to announce that we now offer same day ultrasound services for your pet! Our ultrasound certified technicians Katie and Kristin will scan your pet, which is painless and does not require sedation, as modeled here by sweet Penelope. The images are then read by board certified veterinary radiologists who then communicate with our doctors to figure out the best treatment plan for your babies! Ultrasound is extremely helpful for diagnosis of many conditions including but not limited to :
inflammatory bowel disease, chronic kidney disease, prostate enlargement, various cancers, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and gallbladder disease.
