Another friendly reminder that our office policy regarding Covid 19 has not changed in the past 6 days. If you have been in close contact with someone that has needed to test, and that test is not back yet, we will have to reschedule your appointment until a negative result is back for the safety of all staff and patients of the practice. If you yourself have had to test and do not have your results back, we will have to reschedule your appointment for the safety of staff and patients of the practice. West Penn Dental Center has invested enormous amounts of time and financial resources to protect our staff and patients. Primary close contact with symptomatic persons and symptomatic persons themselves waiting for test results are not able to be seen until either 2 weeks post symptoms or a negative test is obtained. As a reminder, current guidelines allow for the patient to be the only person in the room during treatment. Family that may be accompanying the patient will be asked to wait in the waiting room or their vehicle. Staff will speak to parents or guardians about any findings after the patient has been seen.
