Laura loves Red Raider sports, especially football and men’s basketball. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their dog Chief. As a family they love to spend time at the lake. She also enjoys working out.

She and her husband Clyde have a blended family of 5 children, 1 Son-In-Law,

This week we would like to introduce you to Amy. She grew up in the small town of Matador, TX and graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she specialized in surgery working as a neurosurgery and cardiothoracic surgical nurse in Texas and Virginia. When she joined West Texas Oral Facial Surgery she used her experience as a surgical nurse to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She also serves as our Professional Relationship Director. When not at work Amy stays busy with her family. She and her husband are high school sweethearts and have been married over twenty years. They have three children. Their daughter attends Oklahoma State University, Go Pokes! They also have two sons whom Amy homeschools.
Amy enjoys relaxing with her family, traveling, camping and hiking in the mountains, photography, politics, reading, quilting, flying, college football, smoking brisket and sausage, and volunteering with Veterans’ causes.
Fun Fact: She can moonwalk. Bucket List Item: She would like to be the clown in the barrel during the bull riding at the NFR.
