Western Plains Outpatient Therapy November 15 at 6:15 PM · Patient Success Story: This is Bob Bailey, owner of Bailey’s Body Shop here in Dodge City. Bob sustained a left wrist fracture in July and had surgery by Dr. Ashfaq of Global Bone and Joint, also here in Dodge City. Once the fracture had healed Bob was referred to WPMC Outpatient Therapy for Occupational Therapy. Bob and his OT- Juliann Friess worked hard for one month with his rehab program both in the clinic as well as a home exercise program. Bob took the home program seriously and came up with many ways on his own to speed up the healing process. He used his left hand frequently (even though he is right handed) when performing some of his hobbies such as woodworking and making new outdoor Christmas decorations for his home. Eventually Bob was able to return to all things he loves to do- including fishing! He caught this nice bass on a trip to Lake Fork, TX. Thank you Bob for letting Western Plains Occupational Therapy be a part of your success!
