So many intermittent fasters skip breakfast. Ever wonder why? Is it because we like to sleep in a little later and it's easy to rush out the door? Not sure what to eat for a healthy breakfast? Just not hungry in the morning? Easy to ride the coffee roller coaster until lunch?
Health-wise it's actually better for you eat a bigger, healthier breakfast and lunch and skip dinner. There's less of an insulin response that usually happens in the morning than at your evening dinner and it would probably help you get to a deeper level of sleep. BUT - it's hard to not have the social factor of eating dinner with others... Maybe one or two days/ week switch it up and try something new. You may find you like it better. Pick a day when you're already running kids around and busy - and then really enjoy that family dinner the next day.
One of our 12 tips to getting better sleep was a cold bath or shower. They also help with recovery, inflammation and fast loss. Let us know if you prefer a cold bath, cold shower or no thanks!
Here are 3 things you can do for your kids to help prevent them from getting headaches through the day as many of them are looking at screens more and more.
Do you know what the 3 most common types of fasting are? How are they different? What is the different benefits of each? Take a listen, I was surprised.

We've been posting about Mental Health Week and this is one of our favorites around the office to help manage stress and energy!
Ashwagandha Complex is a combination of four high-quality herbs: Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha), Licorice, Skullcap and Korean Ginseng.
As one of the most soothing herbs for occasional stress, Ashwagandha has been used traditionally for more than 5,000 years. In Hindi, “Ashwagandha” loosely translates as the “strength of ten horses” – thanks to the plant’s reputation as a natural energizer.
It's Mental Health Week and the way that 2020 has been so far - we're focusing on mental health all month in our office. To kick things off, here are 14 ways to reduce and manage stress in a healthy way. We'll be diving deeper into these strategies all month but here's a quick rundown.
Pick 1-3 of these techniques and implement it every. single. day. Consistency is key to making a positive impact on your nervous system. Yes- 15 min will make a difference today, but a week's worth of these activities starts to build resilience.
Take a listen and let me know what you do to de-stress right now?

“WHEN I LOOK AT BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF MYSELF, I REMEMBER WHEN WEIGHT LOSS FELT UNATTAINABLE.
It felt so out of reach for me and I didn’t know where
to start. After I nished ChiroThin, my whole thought process was different. I had reached my goal, and now I wanted to stay there. I chose to work out and to keep eating clean because I wanted to. Not because I had to.
I LOVED HOW I FELT AND THAT I HAD ENERGY AND THE BRAIN FOG I DEALT WITH REGULARLY, WAS GONE.
Seeing my body transform and actually attaining what
I set out to do shifted my mindset and I didn’t struggle with food choices after I nished the program. I didn’t go back to the way I was eating before, because I didn’t want to. I worked so hard to break the cravings and to bring in ammation down, and I decided I am not going back.”

You have to be intentional! Think about how fast 2020 flew by and you had so much extra time on your hands - 2021 will go by even faster if you don't set a date for certain experiences.
I know where I'll be Aug 19-22 of this year. I'll be in Utah going up and down this mountain 13 times. Making a commitment for a big challenge like this made such a huge difference for me in 2020 - it changed how and how much I worked out, getting out into nature so much more, prioritized sleep and recovery and got me back in touch with a part of me that I put aside for running a business and family.
You've only got so many years left. If you want to create some amazing healthy experiences in 2021 but aren't sure what to do or where to start - you need to join our Up The Ladder FB group.
I'm also going to start doing some group coaching for people who want more health and adventure in their 2021. If you want to learn more about it - comment below or DM me and I'll send you info.
By far our most successful program in the office has been our 6 week Chirothin program - but now there is a 9 Day version for anyone who doesn't have 6 weeks or wants to try the program before fulling committing. Price is $250 - you get a pre and post consult with Angela, the drops for the program and full guide to track your meals and progress over the 9 days. Follow the link in the comments to schedule your free consult online.
As so many others - we're so excited for a new year and some fresh beginnings. We hope to continue to be part of your adventures and can't wait to make some amazing memories this year.
We're in the office this morning from 8-12:30 if you need any last minute visits before you ring in the New Year!

National puppy day was founded in 2006 by author Colleen Paige. The idea is to raise awareness on puppies in need of adoption, and on the abuses found in puppy mills, but also celebrate how great puppies can be!
If you have a picture of you puppy we would love to see!
