Yesterday our theme for Luau Month was Hawaiian Cowboys to tie into our Assisted Living Week theme! We had hula and fire dancers entertaining us on our front lawn, while family members were invited to join us in a special section to follow safety protocols.
Next Thursday we are doing a special Hawaiian Craft hosted on Zoom for both our residents and family members. Hope to see you there!
September is Luau Month here at San Miguel Ranch! Each week we have special events, and yesterday our team dressed as Hawaiian tourists while Chef Erwin did a Kalua Pork cooking demonstration for our residents, while being streamed for family members on Zoom. What a fun day!

Today we celebrated Halloween and did our WALK4ALZ. We had a wonderful time with family joining us socially distanced and masked. Our culinary team did an amazing job with "mice" meatloaf and "brain" chili. Happy Halloween!
