This Royal Doulton Sung Flambé vase features gnomes with mushrooms. It is rich with red, orange, and blue lustre glaze. It has the Royal Doulton stamp along with a hand painted Sung on the bottom of the vase. This type of glaze is very popular with collectors.
It is a gorgeous piece by artist Charles J. Noke. He is known for producing a vast range of pottery with different techniques, which include Flambé, Titanian, Sung, and others. Those techniques was highly influential that helped Doulton become a world leader in the arts.
