We are very excited to welcome our new Chiropractor, Dr. Kynan Tarnowski, D.C. See full Bio below. Hello, I am Dr. Kynan and I am from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I moved here to Nampa, Idaho in April 2020 with my fiancé and am proud to be a part of the Whole Health Chiropractic team. I specialize in the Gonstead system of chiropractic, utilizing specific, precise adjustments. Growing up in Canada, I was always playing competitive sports. I played hockey all year round and fastpitch softball in the summers. From a young age chiropractic kept me healthy while playing sports and allowed me to perform at my best. When I was 18-years-old, I suffered a serious concussion while playing softball. I experienced delayed reaction time, forgetfulness, excessive napping, inability to sleep for more than a few hours at a time, and difficulty focusing. After extensive testing, every healthcare professional told me to just “give it time” for my symptoms to go away. Chiropractic sped up that healing process and got me back to myself quicker than anyone thought possible. Chiropractic gave me my life back. That is when I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor and help others in the same way it helped me. I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in Kinesiology. From there I went onto attend Life University for chiropractic school where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. In chiropractic school I chose to specialize in the Gonstead system as it gives me the tools I needed, and the confidence, to provide the best possible care to each different and unique person. I served as Gonstead club president while in school and have attended over 200 hours of seminars in the Gonstead system. Utilizing digital x-rays and a precise neurological exam, I can provide my patients with the best possible care. I love seeing athletes, kids of all ages, and families. When I am not in the office, I enjoy being outdoors with my fiancé and our dog Cypress. I enjoy hiking, playing disc/frisbee golf, fishing, hunting, going to the gym, and golfing. I still play fastpitch softball and hockey as much as I can. Nutrition is an important aspect of overall health, so my fiancé and I like to cook and buy as much local produce and meat as possible. I love this community so you will likely see me out at local events and farmer’s markets. I am grateful to be able to serve this community and look forward to seeing you in the office.
