The Wild Bird Habitat Stores will not politicize the wearing of face coverings in our business. Even without a mandate it will be required. I feel it’s the right thing to do to protect our staff and all our valuable customers from Covid 19. It’s that simple
Wild Bird Habitat Stores are open for purchases of bird feeders & birding supplies. Wild bird feed however remains order for curbside pickup

European barn owls might look ghostly, but unlike most spirits, their presence is often welcome by farmers that find them in their barns, for they feed almost exclusively on rodents. A natural form of pest control, these owls will take to the sky at night, watching and listening for prey. Thanks to excellent vision and hearing, barn owls can strike at prey in total darkness, ridding farmland of unwanted guests such as rats, mice, voles, and young rabbits. Video taken at Parco Natura Viva thanks to the support of Green Teen Team. #owl #barnowl #birdofprey #hunter #nocturnal #ghostly #pestcontrol #PhotoArk #savetogether

I am sharing this photo from a friend to give you an idea of just how large a Bald Eagles nest is. Bald eagle nests are generally 5 feet wide and 3 feet deep. The largest recorded bald eagle nest 9.5 feet in diameter, 20 feet deep and weighed almost 6,000 pounds! Check out this to scale nest, at Hueston Woods.
