Farm-Kour (Parkour farm style) Fall festival this weekend. Sat from 2-7, and Sunday from 2-5. Bring our your kids to enjoy the farm animals, run the course, have a hay ride and possible ride a pony!! $10/person.
This is a 6 weekend series (each weekend has its own flavor. Come back for all 6!)

Are you interested in lessons? I have a few spots available.
Mon at 3:30 1 beginner spot
Thurs at 4:30 (intermediate/cantering 1 spot), or Thursday 5:30 (2 beginner spots).
If 4 adults would commit to a weekly lesson, I’d open another adult only spot Wednesday at 1:30.
This is one of our wonderful adult ladies with Blaze.
Lessons are taught in a one hour group format. We begin with the basics of catching a horse, bringing them in grooming, saddling up, go down to the arena and ride, ride back up to the barn, and put the horse away. Riders are typically at the farm about an hour and 20 minutes.
Lessons are $60 each or a flat $240 per month for a weekly lesson.
Weather has cancelled our fall festival for today and for tomorrow.

Waiting to see what the weather does this weekend.
Next weekend’s fall festival fundraiser for the Miracle Barn is “Art” at the farm. Each weekend of the series has a different theme. Every weekend had horse or pony rides, hay rides up the big hill, a fire as it gets increasingly chilly, and small animals (baby calves, goats, a tea cup pig, horses, and cats) to pet.
The 17th we’ll have a barn dance with a rock and roll band! Keep an eye on the events link for all the fun activities.

We are doing a Interactive outdoor live nativity December 18, 19, and 20th at 6:30 PM. If you want to be part of the crew, we are having a one time rehearsal Sunday December 13 at 4 PM at the farm. If you are planning on singing, playing an instrument, helping with costumes, etc. please plan on being there.
Calling all campers! By popular demand, I’m going to offer one day of camp on Wednesday next week 9-1. It’s $95/day per kid. Will have many days available over Christmas break.
Each camper will have their own horse each day. They’ll learn how to go the the pasture and catch their horse, lead it into the barn, groom and saddle, then ride in the arena focusing on safety and good horsemanship. After the riding is completed, they’ll unsaddle and put their horse away. Then we’ll go out and feed all the different herds of animals and have lunch ourselves (remember to pack one). Kids are picked up promptly at 1.
First run in shed complete. This one is for the old folks.

3 have been found! I’m still looking for Majestic.
I'm looking for several of our young horses that were sold/given away in 2008/2009 when everything in my life was in crisis ( first husband moved out when I was 5 months pregnant with Gabe, world economy fell apart, farm was nearly bankrupt, etc.). They went with their registration papers, but the paperwork was never transferred into the new owner's names.
I don't necessarily need them back, but am wanting to know of their whereabouts so if they ever needed a home, they could come home. We are in Cumming, Georgia
Found!! WF Sea Captain. he is over towards Buford and belongs to a veterinarian now.
Second is WF Majestic. She’s a solid bay with a small star about 15.2 hands tall. She's 1/2 Arabian/Appendix QH. She was given to a friend of a friend over towards Rome - he had something to do with a large shutter building company here in Alpharetta. She's a full sister to Liberty. This mare was sport horse all the way and would have been one heck of a hunter but I think he mostly trail rode.
