Current or prior insurance service experience required; current or previous Allstate experience preferred and will be compensated as such. Starting salary will be based on experience.
Job Requirements:
PLEASE READ FIRST-Candidates MUST ALREADY POSSESS a VALID Ohio Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance licensed to be considered for this position.
Qualified individuals must have the desire to work independently while trying to play as a Team Member. Must be efficient and knowledgeable with regards to property and casualty (P&C) insurance policies and have experience servicing and quoting personal lines insurance policies and understanding insurance billing cycles and claims processes.
Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
• Sell Personal Lines Insurance products to new prospects and current customers through leads, referrals and cross-selling to current book of business
• Answers incoming calls and correspondence regarding insurance products, answers billing questions and assistance with explaining policy coverages and with filing claims. The questions may involve new policies and/or existing customer policies.
• Must have the ability to handle difficult customer phone calls. Customers may call with complaints about insurance coverage, insurance language and/or billing cycle questions. Must have great interpersonal/verbal communication skills to provide information to customers and resolve problems
• Excellent computer skills are necessary to assist customers and to document service calls. Must be organized, confident and motivated
Required education:
· High school or equivalent
Required license:
· State of Ohio Property and Casualty Insurance License
