To our Patients,
As we work to safely reopen our community, we at Williams Eye Institute have resumed our mission to care for you in a safe and responsible manner. Over the past two weeks, we have resumed elective cataract surgery at both our Hammond and Merrillville locations.
We are pleased to announce that we can now resume care for our patients in the office setting. Starting the week of May 11th, our staff will contact all patients who have an upcoming appointment to (a) confirm your previously scheduled appointment or (b) reschedule for a later date.
For those patients who had an appointment that was cancelled in March or April due to the shelter-in-place order, we are working to reschedule your appointment. This will take some time! You can expect to hear from us over the next several weeks. It may be well into the summer before we can see every patient, but we are committed to ensuring everyone receives the care they need. If you have any urgent medical concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
