Pick-up and drop-off services are more than a convenience: they’re part of the commercial laundry tradition. In fact, a photo of the Elk Laundry Co. (circa 1910) shows 12 delivery vehicles parked in front. Half were motorized cars, the rest were horse-drawn wagons.
Although certain types of odors can be incredibly difficult to remove, most dry cleaners offer processes that can address these issues. These include particularly persistent odors such as those from smoke and water damage.
