Office Closure
Due to the recent announcements from MA Governor Baker banning gatherings of 25 people and the MA Dental Society’s recommendation for dental practices to close their offices to patients seeking elective and non-urgent care, we have decided to close our Greenfield, MA and Keene, NH offices from Monday, March 16, 2020 through April 5, 2020 and reopen on Monday, April 6, 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed. Our Greenfield, MA office will be open on Monday, March 16, 2020 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 for emergency appointments only. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Although it's still been a little chilly, thank goodness we were finally given some sunshine this weekend! Hope everyone found time to get out there and enjoy some fresh air!
Hilary, her 5yo daughter and 2yo son have been enjoying beautiful hikes together in their Vermont hometown. This week, they're planning on making and delivering some sweet treats to their family.
What is your new favourite place you have found outside? What are some goals you have or new outdoor places you are looking forward to exploring?
Happy Wednesday to our Ortho Families! Just a quick little update for those who have not seen the newest email and text that we have sent out. We are following the guidelines given by Governor Sununu and Governor Baker, and while ready to get back to our normal routine, we are now tentatively reopening on May 4th. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you if things should change. We thank you so much for your patience and understanding while we get through this interesting time together.
There are not many things better than cake. Did you know that our clinician Ashley is a FABULOUS baker and makes delicious treats for events and parties in her spare time? These days, she's throwing caution to the wind, handing over the sprinkles, and teaching her 3yo daughter the tricks of decorating cupcakes which, of course, have to pass royal inspection!
What are some tasty treats or favourite meals you have enjoyed with your family in these past few weeks? Share a picture below in the comments; we'd love to see!
The whole team at Wilson Orthodontics miss our patients an awful lot, and we cannot wait to see you all as soon as we are able to reopen.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing photos of us and our familes being able to spend more time together in these new circumstances; we would love to see what our patients and their families are up to as well!
One of our clinicians, Victoria, has rediscovered the joy of painting and her 3yo daughter P.J joins in on the fun! 😂
What has been your favourite rainy-day activity?
Cheshire Medical isn't the only hospital close to our hearts. It was a beautiful day to take a drive to deliver some love to our friends at Baystate Franklin Medical Center, located only a few miles down the road from our office in Greenfield MA.
The best thing we can do for our communities at this moment is to lend a helping hand (or glove) and support the courageous men and women of the healthcare industry. We are so grateful for all they do.
To our wonderful patients and their families, keep up the positivity and stay tuned for some special posts that are sure to make you smile. We sure do miss seeing you all!
Inspired by the heartwarming note left in Dr. Wilson's mailbox (see our previous post) and all of the other acts of kindness we have seen over the past week, we have been thinking about what we could do to help.
After learning about the severe need for personal protective equipment at Cheshire Medical Center, we have decided to donate of the majority of our supplies to the hospital. Our gloves and masks will be put to much better use there rather than sitting, unused, in our office. We feel the most important thing we can do today is to support the healthcare workers on the frontline, who are working so hard to protect us all.
As a community we should be thinking about the things we can do, big and little, to support each other during these challenging times. Please continue to post and share your acts of kindness and support you see. This will go far towards inspiring others to do the same, and give us all something to smile about.
