Not all steel is created equally, and that’s a good thing. PVQ steel plate meets pressure vessel quality standards defined by ASTM. These carbon-manganese steels have superb-notch toughness and are well-suited to a range of welded vessel fabrication applications.
If you need sheet aluminum spot-welded, we have the most up-to-date spot welding equipment to create consistent welds that will not fail. We identify any aluminum alloys and use the smallest tips on the market to keep the weld secure.
In addition to our standard welding applications, we also hand work pieces here on site. We are a full service welding and metal fabrication shop, so we can meet all your welding and metal fabrication needs.
Although almost any metal can be welded together (including cast iron, bronze, aluminum, and titanium), some metals are easier to weld than others are. For instance, the stronger the steel is, the harder it is to weld. While titanium can be welded, it requires a highly protective environment, because it is so reactive.
If necessary, we will machine parts in our shop after welding. This saves the time and money associated with outsourcing sections of a job, enabling you to get what you need quickly and at the lowest cost.
