One HUGE design trend in 2020 is the use of the OVERSIZED pendant.
These dramatic fixtures are the perfect centerpiece for any room. I like to think of lighting as the “jewelry” of the house... The simpler the outfit, the bolder your jewelry should be. This same formula applies to your home. These dramatic domes can be added to a room to create an over-the-top style statement. Large pendants can be placed over kitchen islands or tables, in an entryway or in your hallway.

Mirrors aren't just about function. Often, they are the unsung heroes when it comes to decorating.
Mirrors can add drama, make a room feel larger and increase the amount of light in a room.
Mirror placement is often one of the first things we decide when designing a room.
Since mirrors are often asked to do double duty it's important to determine where it's going to have the most impact.
When determining placement, ask yourself these questions;
- What is it reflecting?
Is it a beautiful view... or an area you don't necessarily want highlight? If so, artwork is your friend here.
- Where does it provide the biggest impact?
Don't be afraid to think big when it comes to mirrors as they can create an illusion of increased space.
