Angela Hudson, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN and has been providing women with exceptional medical care at her practice, Women’s Healthcare Center of Georgia, since 1995. Dr. Hudson considers the patient-doctor relationship a partnership and takes the time necessary to get to know her patients, answer their questions, and explain treatment options in detail. Dr. Hudson realizes she’s not just providing excellent health care, but building lifelong relationships, from the first OB/GYN examination in a young woman’s life through her childbearing years to the change of life.
Her relationship-building skills and exceptional medical care hasn’t gone unnoticed. Dr. Hudson was voted top doctor in Atlanta Magazine two years in a row and was recognized in Essence magazine for her OB/GYN expertise and practice.
Dr. Hudson received her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, formerly known as the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark, New Jersey, and completed her internship at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. She then traveled to Dallas for her OB/GYN residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She trained at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, which is one of the busiest OB/GYN programs in the country.
At her practice in Powder Springs, Georgia, Dr. Hudson works hard at connecting with her patients by helping them understand their health through visualization and analogies.
Dr. Hudson is multilingual and fluent in Spanish.
